The Cert. story
They call them decision makers, but these faceless, naysaying, box tickers make nothing but “no”. And no helps no one.
We know “no” well. Starting out, it took years to convince regulators, banks and clients that we were good people to deal with. Unless you were one of the big guys, it would be a “no”.
The skin got thicker, our faces more familiar, our voices a little louder. We built a can-do team who do things differently. We choose being effective over being efficient, growing big but staying nimble, and giving “yes” every possible chance to win.
It makes underwriting anything but boring.
